Duo Violette is a unique aerial hoop duo known for their chemistry and storytelling. As they fly they display strength-based partnering, fluid role reversal, and poetic choreography that challenges traditional notions of power, gender, and gravity. Jacob Mckee and Glory Dearling met a few years ago while training and working in Montréal, Québec, Canada. They shared an instant artistic connection and recently completed their first contract together in Germany at Flic Flac Dortmund for the 2025-2026 Xmas Show.

Glory Dearling
Originally from Manhattan, New York, Glory Dearling is a multidisciplinary aerialist known for her strong stage presence, fluid movement quality, and captivating storytelling. She specializes as a soloist on high-flying aerial net, hoop, and silks, and as a partnering specialist in ensemble work across circus and live entertainment.
She has performed internationally with The Silver Starlets and for notable companies including Cirque Éloize, La TOHU, Cirque Italia, and NBA Halftime Shows, and appeared as a semifinalist on Canada’s Got Talent. She is also a stunt performer and actor, an ACTRA member, a dual Canadian-American citizen, an aerial and stadium rigger, and part of the Cirque du Soleil talent pool.
After training in competitive figure skating and acro dance throughout her childhood and teen years, Glory immersed herself in the circus world, developing aerial acts under mentors including Stacy Clark, Rachel Walker and Jen Georgopoulos. She is represented by The Casting Solution, a graduate of the International Stunt School in Seattle, and holds a degree in Devised Theatre from York University in Toronto.
Jacob McKee
Jacob McKee is a multi-disciplinary aerial artist, actor, singer, and designer whose work emphasizes expressive movement, musicality, and emotional clarity. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jacob has been immersed in the New York circus and performance scene for over seven years, training with leading international coaches including Marie-Michelle Faber, Maximiliano Torandell, Lisbeth Mikoleit, Anna Vemizelos, and Olaf Treibel. His background in music as a classical contrabass player deeply informs his sense of timing, phrasing, and dynamic contrast in the air.
Jacob has performed extensively in New York venues and immersive productions, including The Box, Slipper Room, Paradise Club, Legacy Castle, and as a main cast member of MoonRise by Rigolo. Known for his fluidity, flexibility, and theatrical presence, Jacob brings a nuanced, emotionally grounded approach to aerial performance that supports Duo Violette’s unconventional partnering and narrative-driven work.
